Case Study

Project Features

The four main components of the project included:

  • a ten-lane 50-meter long course pool
  • a three-lane 25-yard short course pool
  • a 50-foot teaching pool
  • an aqua therapy pool

Project Description

The 50 meter by 25 yard pool and the three-lane, 25 yard warm up-warm down pool have been constructed using the precast concrete swimming pool wall system offered by Vanguard.

The two pools also use vacuum sand filtration systems and chloramine capture and release system. All of the pools in the complex (excluding the aqua therapy pool) will be outfitted with a UV light chloramine destruct system to further enhance the air quality in the natatorium. The pools are used for recreation, instruction, competition, and training for Olympic hopefuls.
